My scanner can’t read Arabic, so every page is a .jgp graphic, now painstakingly enhanced over the CD version and formatted to balance legibility against size, whilst ensuring that every single download stays well below 500 KB, the margin where speed and capacity may become problems on some computers I have known. Naturally, this method required me to break the book down into an unusually high number of segments; and I had to use English oage numbering in the hyperlinks, but carefully preserved or restored the original Arabic numbering at the bottom of all pages. If the files are to be printed, I recommend the longer sheets called "legal" or "official" ( 21.59 cm by 35.56cm ) rather than A4 (21 by 29.7cm) or"Letter" or "Carta" (21.59 by 27.94cm): otherwise, pages may be cut off at the bottom.

Any to whom I have mailed the CD version will find major improvements throughout. But I strongly recommend downloading all the restored figures, especially in Chapter 6, where I found and set aright serious damage and disorder. Moreover, I found some pages wholly missing, including pages 178, 245,and 279. The captions under the figures were printed extremely small in the original book; I have done my best, trusting to the redoubtable vision of Arabic readers, who after all can, at a glance, tell the indisputably vital difference between and .
